I’m an independent journalist and editor currently freelancing from Paris. A generalist at heart, my body of work spans breaking news reports, reported features, videos, social media content and interactive graphics.

As a freelancer, I have written for titles including the BBC, Euronews, Mozilla Foundation, London Evening Standard, the Independent and City AM. I have worked in newsrooms in Singapore, London and Shanghai, and speak English, Mandarin and French.

Prior to going freelance, I was based in Singapore for 4 years. I covered local and international news for Channel NewsAsia’s digital platforms, distilling key news developments in the Asia-Pacific region for a global audience. I started as a digital journalist, and was promoted a few times before becoming a deputy editor.

In addition to journalism, I take on freelance editing projects too — everything from corporate social trend reports, to academic essays on indigenous Scandinavian arts and crafts. I also do regular proofreading/copyediting for the International Court of Justice (ICJ).
